This marks our first Online Exclusive. Actually this week it is more of a rant but it is okay because Book Of The Week can assess bad points as well as good points.
I was never really a fan of the High School Musical series when it first came out. I remember deciding to watch the first one to see what all the fuss was about and i quite enjoyed it. I then decided to watch the second installment (High School Musical 2) and I think that it is the best movie out of all of them
I was quite keen to see the third one and when I finally did I was a bit disappointed because after i saw the trailer I thought the film was going to be amazing but the plot is very weak and I couldn't bear the songs so i just had to keep pressing fast forward.
Unfortunately this is one of Disney's money making scams. They take every opportunity to leech money out of kids and their parents. for example the first two movies were shown on TV but as they were not making enough money they decided to put it into the cinema to make more money.
You can buy anything now with High School Musical on it because they know if it has got that on it then the kids will buy it. Now they are making a 4Th movie which I predict will not be as good as the others because it is rumoured to have a new cast.
I like High School Musical but this is one step too far
