Quite ironic that a non christmas book won the Christmas special but I'm sure there are many students have seen it and if not naybe you will see it over the christmas break. Anyway, you may have noticed that the image above isn't the actual cover but you will find that the book is filled with stills from the movie.

This Book is by an amzing author called Roald Dahl who is one of the best-loved of children's writers. He was born in Wales of Norwegian parents. His books continue to be bestsellers, despite his death in 1990, and total UK sales are 55 million worldwide! Quentin Blake is one of the best-known and best-loved children's illustrators and it's impossible now to think of Roald Dahl's writings without imagining Quentin Blake's illustrations.
