New Moon [4/5/10]

Competition is a healthy thing, that is of course only if you play fairly. Today we had two books in the Twilight Saga going head to head with each other for the book of the week crown. It was between Book Of The Week heavyweights Jake & Shivani. After the democratic vote it was decided that the winner this week would be the book that has just been released onto dvd - New Moon.

'The sexiest vampire tale for years arrived in Stephenie Meyer's TWILIGHT, about teenage Bella's chaste romance with a beautiful vampire boy. Their intensely erotic feelings are endangered by more predatory types. Guaranteed to suck in sulky 13+ girls for

Edward roared ...Dazed and disorientated, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm - and into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires. For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. 1. I would have loved to have been there to witness Jake and Shivani going head to head with this one! I know Shivani didn't rate the film of Twilight but liked the book - will New Moon be the same? I, of course, was able to view the trailer at home but it didn't tempt me to see the film. Also, I don't think I shall be buying the make-up!
Hope you are all getting stuck in to the Carnegie books
    Best wishes
